From Docksta Havet's Base Camp you can easily jump to the recreational opportunities in the area:
you can plan to walk on top of the Skuleberget ( Skuleberget Copyright all images: © Jakob Norstedt-Moberg-Fotoverkstan-Örnsköldsvik, Sweden) or visit the new Naturum Höga Kusten museum, bike to Skuleskogen national park or walk around the Ullångersfjärden or Norrfjärden.

You are also welcome to the exhibitions or events at Docksta Havet or to relax in the Sailor's Club House.

Or... if you just prefer to stop your cruising and want to venture in a city for shopping, the local bus can take you pretty much anywhere. The bus stop (Docksta Marina) is just 50 meters from the piers of Docksta Havet, on the E4 highway. Please ask in our offices for the timetables (available also at www.dintur.se).
In 48 minutes you can reach the center of Örnsköldsvik with all the new shopping centers and "waterfront" opportunities that this very nice city on the coast can offer you. Härnösand in 60', Kramfors in 59', Sundsvall 114', Umeå 127'.
