To diversify the use
Docksta Havet wishes to diversify the traditionally and functionally seasonal use of structures like the ex-restaurant buildings, docks and banks.

The projects intend to respect the ambience, character and type of each building, adapting them to the new requirements, uses and styles of our days. The objective is geared towards involving an increasing number of visitors, by offering new opportunities and events and enhancing existing ones.
Havets Hus & Docks
In the case of the restaurant, this will be achieved by maintaining its potential and functional features intact but reinventing the use of the facility for new and more dynamic events: in this way the large hall facing onto the sea could also be used as an exhibition area for shows and events, all year round.
The “double use of the docks”, with its rational modularity and incomparable seaside position, makes it the ideal “playground” for unveiling new products, organizing events, exhibitions, fitting out a showroom, a temporary shop or housing a meeting or debate: from inside, the spectator lives the emotional experience projecting it outwards – nature and the sea complement the visual experience and set it in context.
Externally, the docks are object of the emotional projection of the spectator, and can better display and support the “protagonist” – accommodating the works on its walls like in an open-air gallery, and attracting the visual and therefore emotional involvement of the spectator.
