Thanks to the ice we had in Docksta this winter...

A very common comment about last winter in Sweden was:
"we got a real Winter (finally)".
The Dockstafjärden were frozen until first weeks of april and also at Docksta Havet the piers were frozen and the ice was really deep. It was exactly what we were waiting for :)

With the ice around the floating warfs was possible - walking directly on ice - to replace the frame of wood where are fixed the Y-boom. This mantainance operation was already planned, but finally the ice conditions allowed us to do it.

Above a picture of a day at the end of April (no more ice in Docksta :) that shows the brand new frame before to place the Y-boom in the water.
