Use WISE Bathing Water Quality data viewer for quick check on locations and statistics on quality for coastal and freshwater bathing waters!
You can search by country, region, province and bathing water and see bathing waters in Google Earth. You can also explore how bathing waters have improved over the last years.

So: are you interested to know the quality of High Coast bathing waters?
Go on EEA website and select:
"Sweden", then "Mellersta Norrland", then "Västernorrland Län" and... but you'll discover yourself! ;-)

High Coast waters are perfect for a "wild swimming", and are much warmer of the common idea about the sea in the North of Sweden (have a look at the SST temperatures measured at the floating warfs of the gästhamn at Docksta Havet). You'll have the opportunity to enjoy also a really clean sea.
