Högklinten, the latest natural reserve in the Höga Kusten

The hill of Högklinten, 281 meters high, covers an area of 80 hectars in the High Coast, near the village of Mjällom. By the way, from its top is possible to have a fantastic view over the High Coast, from Härnösand toward south to Örnsköldsvik toward north.
Due to its particular geological characteristics, the Länsstyrelsen of Västernorrland has now decided to make it a natural reserve.
Read here the press release on Länsstyrelsen of Västernorrland's website, and here the fact sheet about Högklinten on geologivagen.se, where you'll find plenty of informations and a detailed map of the area (both of them are in swedish).
