When is time to visit the High Coast?

High Coast is appealing at any time of the year! Particularly by boat, almost from middle of may to end of september, people are taking more shorter breaks by the sea and seasons have expanded.

At the Base Camp, we're trying to promote and support a longer season for people planning to use the boat and go off to the sea coast also for the weekends and go play on the water for longer periods instead of just four, six weeks a year during the summer holidays. In May and at the end of August or in September, if you take the "calendar" out of the equation and you just consider the weather (and this is easy if you've got a wet and warm suit), it doesn't matter whether it's raining, sunny or windy - there's always a nice place you can easily reach by boat! You can discover that a lot of sailors are using the boat also in those periods, to go fishing, or sailing a regatta or just to cruise in even more peaceful surrondings.
So, move up to sail! :-)
