First Ambassador for Marine Environment

The Swedish government has appointed Sweden’s first ever Ambassador for the marine environment. Mia Horn af Rantzien was appointed by Minister for the Environment Andreas Carlgren at a press briefing where the Minister also talked about Swedish international initiatives for the Baltic Sea. According to the government, ”Mia Horn af Rantzien is currently Sweden’s Ambassador to the WTO and has previously worked on sustainability and development issues.” © Copyright Sveriges Radio 2007
