The new building of the Naturum Höga Kusten has been opened on June this year. The center hosts the Museum of the High Coast World Heritage and a restaurant, plus other activities during the summer season. It lies at the foot of the Skuleberget, at the border of the Skuleskogen National Park, about 2 km north of Docksta.

What is a "Naturum"?
"Naturum" is the name that Naturvårdskerket, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, gave in 1973 to the information centers of the national parks or natural reserves. Today there are over 40 Naturums all over Sweden: they are point of information, inspiration and pedagogic support about Nature, history and ecological themes to help understand and approach the natural heritages.
