Some environmental aspects of having the second largest fish farm in Leksand, Sweden in the bay of Österviken, lake Siljan.

"... Fish farming is economically plausible as long as the supply of fresh water costs nothing. In order to promote security the fish farms should be placed in dams upon land. The out going water should be cleaned and the nutrition from the farms, may after composting be a valuable resource..."
