The 2011 summer season of the Docksta Havet gästhamn starts next June 17th and ends on August, 15st. All the sailors around the Höga Kusten and the Baltic sea are welcome!

Docksta Havet is the natural “base camp” to access the sea simply, directly and safely in the heart of the High Coast World Heritage.

At Docksta Havet you find different opportunities to moor your boat with time-given alternatives to match specific needs or seasonal moorings.

A wide range of services reserved to the guests of the marina: the "Service Hus" with toilets, showers with warm water all over the day, dressing room and laundry area (washing machine and dryer), a Wi-Fi area and the private parking area.

Sea lovers are also welcome to relax in the Sailor's Club House:.

100 sqm. dedicated to our guests: to relax reading your favourite book and sail magazine, to drink a coffee with us, collect tourist infos to explore the surroundings or to have a look at the Sea Shop Corner for the sailors...

Butterflies or business - Europe can have both!

The European Environment Agency (EEA) released today its fourth Environment State and Outlook report — SOER 2010 — a comprehensive assessment of how and why Europe’s environment is changing, and what we are doing about it. SOER 2010 concludes that a fully integrated approach to transforming Europe to a resource-efficient green economy can not only result in a healthy environment, but also boost prosperity and social cohesion.

Fjärilar eller företagande – Europa rymmer både och!

Europeiska miljöbyrån (EEA) offentliggör idag sin fjärde rapport i serien Miljön i Europa – tillstånd och utblick (SOER2010) – en djupgående granskning av hur och varför miljön i Europa förändras och hur vi hanterar förändringarna. Rapportens slutsats är att en helt integrerad strategi för att göra den europeiska ekonomin resurseffektiv och miljöanpassad inte bara skulle ge en friskare miljö utan dessutom skulle stimulera välståndet och den sociala sammanhållningen.

HavsUtsikt magazine is for you to keep up to date with what's going on in Swedish marine research. Articles are written popular science, so you need not be an expert to read the articles.

The website havet.nu should be a natural starting point for anyone wanting to know something about the sea, marine science or marine work. It contains comprehensive and relevant information on maritime affairs, scientific reviews and beautiful pictures of the Baltic sea environment, under and above the water surface. Havet.nu is managed by the Marine environment of the Institute departments at universities in Umeå, Stockholm and Gothenburg.
